qi = oxygen

Required reading for martial arts students and enthusiasts of "alternative" medicine.

the commonly accepted idea in the west that Chinese medicine is an energetic, metaphysical medicine was singlehandedly created by a French bank clerk with no training in medicine or ancient Chinese language. It is neither historically accurate nor consistent with modern scientific understanding of the body.

Now shut up and practice.

Holly Messinger

I'm a writer, a costume designer, and a martial artist.

I write gothic westerns, dark fantasy, and noir. Some of my writing is here, and I often post bits on this blog. My first novel, The Curse of Jacob Tracy, was recently bought by Thomas Dunne Books.

I make exclusive custom cosplay and historical costumes. For the most comprehensive gallery of my sewing work visit my DeviantArt page.

Interested in ordering a costume? Read the Frequently Asked Questions, or visit my Etsy Shop.
